Privacy policy
Last updated: 2 November 2026
Remedium (“the app”) is made by Reego Software (“we”). This policy explains what we collect when you use the Remedium Android app and the remedium.care website, why, and the choices you have. We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising.
What we collect
- Account details: username, password (stored only as a secure hash), name, email address, date of birth, language, avatar and appearance settings.
- Health information you enter: the profiles you create, remedies and their doses and schedules, intakes you record, symptoms, notes and generated insights.
- Device data: a push notification token so we can send you dose and stock reminders.
- Sign in with Google: if you choose it, Google shares your name, email address and a Google account identifier with us.
- Feedback you send from the app.
- Anonymous usage analytics: which screens and pages are viewed and which features are used (for example that a remedy was added or a Google Play link was clicked), whether you are on the free or Pro plan, and basic device, browser and app version information. Events are linked only to a random identifier or our internal account ID and never contain your health information, name, email address or username. You can turn analytics off in the app under Settings → Preferences.
We do not use advertising SDKs, and we do not collect your location, contacts or photos. The website sets no cookies and does not store analytics data in your browser; if your browser sends a Do Not Track signal, the website sends no analytics at all.
Why we use it
- To provide the app: store your records, calculate schedules, adherence and stock.
- To send the reminders you set up.
- To generate AI insights, only when you ask for one.
- To keep accounts secure and to answer support requests.
- To understand, in aggregate, how the app and website are used, so we can fix problems and improve them.
We process your health information on the basis of your explicit consent, given when you create an account and enter it. You can withdraw consent at any time by deleting your account.
Who processes it for us
- MongoDB Atlas: database hosting (encrypted at rest and in transit).
- Vercel: hosting of our API and website.
- Expo and Google Firebase Cloud Messaging: delivery of push notifications.
- Google: Sign in with Google, if you use it; Google Play: subscriptions and payments.
- RevenueCat: subscription status, using an app user ID and Google Play purchase receipts. No health data is shared.
- PostHog (hosted in the European Union): anonymous usage analytics for the app and the website. IP addresses are not stored, no health data is sent, and the website uses no cookies. In the app you can opt out under Settings → Preferences; changes between the free and Pro plan are still recorded by our servers, without any personal details.
- Mistral AI (and OpenAI, where enabled): only when you request an AI insight, the relevant remedies, symptoms and notes are sent to generate it. They are not used to train models under our agreements with these providers.
These providers may process data outside your country, including in the European Union and the United States, under appropriate safeguards.
How long we keep it
We keep your data while your account exists. When you delete your account, your account, profiles, remedies, intakes, symptoms, notes, insights and sign-in sessions are deleted immediately from our live database; backups roll off within 30 days. Feedback you sent is kept without any link to your account.
Your rights
You can see and edit your data in the app at any time, and delete your account and all its data in the app (Settings → Delete account) or on our account deletion page. Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or KVKK) you may also have the right to access, correct, export or restrict processing of your data, and to complain to your data protection authority. Contact us to exercise these rights.
Children
Remedium is intended for adults. Parents and carers may create profiles for children they look after; children should not create their own accounts.
Security
Connections are encrypted with TLS, passwords are hashed, and access to data is limited to the account that created it.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date above and, for material changes, tell you in the app.
